In remembrance of SARAH & AMY beloved
wife and daughter of Jesse Cossham of Thornbury. AMY died at the
residence of her brother Shortwood Lodge Pucklechurch October 28th
aged 17 years and SARAH COSSHAM died at Thornbury October 30th 1855
aged 53 years. Both where buried beneath this tomb November 3rd.
Their end was peace. Read ye who run this solemn truth, a worm is the
end of youth.
Also of RICHARD COSSHAM of this town died March 11th 1829 aged 81 years and was buried the East side of this Chapel. Also in memory of JESSE COSSHAM born October 18th 1799 died May 20th 1887. I am the Resurrection and the life, he that believeth though He were dead yet shall He live. Also of ESTHER SAISE daughter of the late Thomas Saise of Bristol and niece of the above Jesse Cossham born 19 May 1838 died 22nd December 1914. Christ all and in all. Also of HUGH COSSHAM of this town died March 11th 1829 aged 81 years and was buried the east side of this Chapel. |
