Note - occupations have been grouped into similar job categories to simplify this type of search. For example, publicans, beer retailers, and ale, wine and spirit dealers have been grouped under the category 'Beer & Spirit Retailers'. Be warned that in the earlier directories, the occupation of a person was not always shown and that, in some cases, people were listed under more than one occupation. For occupations, such as farmers, the list will be very long.
